[78] Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of Dawud and of 'Isa, the son of Maryam, because they disobeyed and persisted in Excesses. [79] Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did. (Qur'an: Al-Maaidah 78-79) |
| 25 March 2008 |
[135] They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Ibrahim, the True, and he joined not gods with Allah." [136] Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes, and that given to Musa (Moses) and 'Isa (Jesus), and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to Allah (in Islam)." (Qur'an: Al-Baqarah 135-6)

[197] For Hajj are the months well-known. If any one undertakes that duty therein, let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj and whatever good ye do, (be sure) Allah knoweth it. And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best of provisions is right conduct. So fear Me, O ye that are wise! [198] It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray. [199] Then pass on at a quick pace from the place whence it is usual for the multitude so to do, and ask for Allah's forgiveness. For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [200] So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers, yea, with far more heart and soul. There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" But they will have no portion in the Hereafter. (Qur'an: Al-Baqarah 197-200) |

[48] To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single People, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you; so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; (Qur'an: Al-Maaidah 48) |

[3] O ye that are sprung from those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Nuh! verily he was a devotee most grateful. [4] And We gave (clear) warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)! [5] When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare. They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled. (Qur'an: Al-Israa' 3-5) |
| 18 August 2007 |
[1] Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless, in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things). [2] We gave Musa the Book and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel, (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs." (Qur'an: Al-Israa' 1-2) |

Alif Lam Mim.
[2] This is the book; in it is guidance, sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; [3] Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; [4] And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. [5] They are on (true guidance), from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. (Qur'an: Al-Baqarah 1-5) |

[17]
Allah accepts the repentance of those who do
evil in ignorance and repent soon
afterwards; to them will Allah turn in
mercy: for Allah is Full of Knowledge and
Wisdom.
[18] Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting faith; for them have we prepared a punishment most grievous. (Qur'an: An-Nisaa 17-18) |
| 19 Mei 2007 | [11] There are among men some who serve Allah, as it were, on the verge: if good befalls them, they are, therewith, well content; but if a trial comes to them, they turn on their faces; they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to see! |

[6]
Make trial of orphans until they reach the
age of marriage; if then ye find sound
judgment in them, release their property to
them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in
haste against their growing up. If the
guardian is well-off, let him claim no
remuneration, but if he is poor, let him
have for himself what is just and
reasonable. When ye release their property
to them, take witnesses in their presence:
but all-sufficient is Allah in taking
account.
[7] From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large, a determinate share. (Qur'an: An-Nisaa 6-7) |

[218]
Those who believed and those who suffered
exile and fought (and strove and struggled)
in the path of Allah, they have the hope of
the Mercy of Allah: and Allah is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[219] They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah make clear to you His Signs: in order that ye may consider. (Qur'an: Al-Baqarah 210-219) |
| 28 January 2007 |
[100] He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth many a refuge, wide and spacious: should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His Messenger, his reward becomes due and sure with Allah: and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.(Qur'an: An-Nisaa' 100) |

"And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men; they
will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on
every kind of camel, lean on account of
journeys through deep and distant mountain
highways;
[28] "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days Appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want. [29] "Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House." (Qur'an: Al Hajj 27-29). |

| 7 December 2006 |
O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to
you as it was prescribed to those before
you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,
(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if
any of you is ill, or on a journey, the
prescribed number (should be made up) from
days later. For those who can do it (with
hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one
that is indigent but he that will give more,
of his own free will, it is better for him.
And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye
only knew. Ramadan is the (month) in which
was sent down the Qur-an, as a guide to
mankind, also Clear (Signs) for guidance and
judgment (between right and wrong). So every
one of you who is present (at his home)
during that month should spend it in
fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a
journey, the prescribed period (should be
made up) by days later. Allah intends every
facility for you; He does not want to put
you to difficulties. (He wants you) to
complete the prescribed period, and to
glorify Him in that He has guided you; and
perchance ye shall be grateful. (Qur'an, The Cow 183-185) |
| September 24, 2006 | When the earth is shaken in her last convulsion; when the earth brings forth its burdens and man ask `What may this means?' - on that day it will proclaim its tidings, for your Lord will have inspired it. On that day mankind come in broken bands (from their grave) to be shown their labours. Whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see its (Qur'an, Al-Zalzalah 1-8 (The Earthquake 1-8)) |
| September 10, 2006 |
The Day of Reckoning for mankind is drawing near, yet the people heedlessly turn away. No fresh warning comes to them from their Lord, but they flippantly listen to it: their hearts are set on pleasure (Qur'an, Al-Ambiyya:1-2) |
| September 2, 2006 |
You will please neither the Christians nor the Jews unless you follow their faith. Say "The guidance of Allah is the only guidance." And if after all the knowledge you have been given, you yield to their desires, there shall be none to help or protect you from the wrath of Allah. (Qur'an, Al-Baqarah, 120). |
| August 21, 2006 | Say: `Men! The truth (the Qur'an) has come to you from your Lord. He that follows the right path it to his own advantage, and he that goes astray does so at his own peril. I am not your keeper". Observe what is revealed to you, and have patient till Allah makes known his judgment. He is the best of Judges (Qur'an,Jonah 108-109). |
| August 13, 2006 | The gates of heaven shall not be opened for those that have denied and scorned Our revelations; nor shall they enter Paradise until a camel shall pass through the eye of a needle. Thus shall the guilty be rewarded (Qur'an, Al A'raaf:40) |

We have revealed the Torah having guidance and light. By it, the prophets who surrendered themselves to Allah judged the Jews, and so did the rabbis and the divines, by what they were required to guard of Allah's books, and to what they were witnesses. Have no fear of people: fear Me, and do not take a small price for my revelations. Unbelievers are those who do not judge in accordance with Allah's revelations (Qur'an, Al-Maidah, 44) |
