Time Being disciplined or organised in time is very
important in Islam. It is required in all matters including your relationship
with the Creator, Allah S.W.T., with your fellow man, and with all the other
creatures of Allah. For example: in the process of prayers (solat), zakat,
fasting, Haji etc. all have been arranged and organised. This also includes our
relationship with our elders, parents, relations, neighbours, fellow Muslims,
our guests, friends, fellow man, and other creatures of Allah S.W.T. Time has
also been organised for man's communication with microscopic creatures which the
naked eye could not see like bacteria and atoms, unless with the aid of
sophisticated modern technology. There are also invisible beings or spirits
which man could not see at all like the angels, devils, satans etc. Allah taught us Muslims the Al -Quran as guidance for
us to differentiate the truth and the false. The Al-Quran contains all commands
and prohibitions, all knowledge, all rules and regulations and the history of
previous people who would be an example for our future generations and us. The
Al-Quran contains information on all aspect of life and teaches man to use their
mental and physical faculties and the other amenities that Allah has provided us
to ponder and made good use of. We are asked to get useful information. Only
those who have faith (iman) and knowledge (ilmu)
will be fearful and will marvel at Allah's Greatness and Sovereignty. Allah said which means: Ar-Rahman (The Loving) taught the
Al-Quran and made man as His creature who can think about the sun and the moon
moving according to its own schedule and calculations and the stars and the
trees bow to Allah S.W.T.. Allah also raised the sky very high and established a
balanced system which man is not supposed to disturb. Man is supposed to be just
and not create disharmony and losses from this balance. Allah created the earth
for his creatures, fruits and date trees with many branches, fruits with
fragrances etc. Which of Allah's Blessing do you want to deny? (Surah Ar-Rahman 1-13) (To be continued) |
